Briarwood Bookkeeping LLC
Website Terms
Effective August 27, 2026
These Website Terms govern your use of the website operated by Briarwood Bookkeeping LLC ("Briarwood," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
General information only
The website provides general information about Briarwood Bookkeeping LLC and its services. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial-planning advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional familiar with your circumstances.
No client relationship
Viewing the website, submitting an inquiry, or speaking with Briarwood does not create a client relationship. A bookkeeping engagement begins only after both parties sign a written engagement agreement and any required payment is received. That agreement controls if it conflicts with this website.
Services and pricing
Website descriptions and prices are starting points, not binding offers. Scope, timing, eligibility, onboarding needs, software costs, and final fees depend on the condition, volume, and complexity of the books and will be confirmed in a written proposal or engagement agreement. Offers may be changed or withdrawn.
Excluded professional services
Unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise, Briarwood does not provide payroll processing, tax return preparation, tax advice, audits, assurance services, legal advice, or regulated financial advice. Briarwood is not a CPA firm.
Appropriate use and confidentiality
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or submit unlawful content. Do not submit passwords, account numbers, tax identification numbers, patient or health information, or confidential financial records through the website form. If services begin, Briarwood will provide appropriate instructions for sharing records.
Intellectual property
The Briarwood name, logos, website design, copy, and other original materials are owned by Briarwood Bookkeeping LLC or used with permission. They may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Briarwood disclaims warranties regarding availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Briarwood will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
