I'm Amber Larson, owner of Briarwood Bookkeeping. After more than 15 years working in financial operations, I created Briarwood to give business owners accurate books, clear communication, and dependable support without the expense of building an in-house accounting department.
As a small-business owner myself, I understand how quickly financial details can compete with everything else that needs your attention. My approach is polished but never impersonal: careful work, practical systems, and support that respects both your time and your business.
Outside of Briarwood, I'm usually spending time with my family, tackling another home project, or relaxing at home with our two dogs nearby.

What types of businesses do you support?
Briarwood supports growing, owner-led businesses—including professional firms, consultants, trade businesses, content creators, online businesses, med spas, and wellness practices. The right fit matters more than the industry label.
Can you work with my booking, payment, or creator platform?
Yes. Briarwood can help organize the flow from booking, payment, affiliate, and digital-sales platforms into your bookkeeping records, including the related payouts, refunds, and processing fees.
Do you provide payroll or tax preparation?
Payroll processing, tax preparation, tax advice, audits, and legal advice are not included. Payroll reconciliation and coordination with your tax professional may be added when appropriate.
What if my books are behind?
Start with a $149 bookkeeping assessment. You will receive a clear summary of the issues and a fixed-price cleanup recommendation; the assessment fee may be credited toward approved cleanup work.
